The charges against Mr. Khodorkovsky and Yukos, like everything else in the trial, are of Brobdingnagian proportions.
Maybe it's because I don't get out much, but this is the first time in my life I have heard someone use the word "Brobdingnagian."

true, i've heard lilliputian -- but its far more common, less awkward, and people know what it means. as opposed to Brodb... which is completely obscure and does not belong in a newspaper; why would you use a word less than 1% of your reading public understands?
ah, yes, i'm not surprised you heard it angela -- after all, there must be so many pricks on the poli sci faculty...
