Come now... if you're really detached it shouldn't bother you that we're a bit miffed at your government's complete and utter refusal to live up to its obligations under NAFTA and therefor be viewed as failed trading partner.
Really, the dispute should give you cause to question your government - or at the bery least embarass you :-)
There actually is a cure for constantly hearing about softwood lumber -- it's called "convincing your federal government to honor their obligations and pay their bills."
Or can't they afford it?
